REF:  LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma presently employed at the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma and University Partners as a Pediatric Radiologist.  I am a board certified Pediatric and Nuclear Radiologist from the American Board of Radiology and a fully licensed physician in the State of Oklahoma.  I write this letter after considerable deliberation and without Mr. Hoshall’s knowledge.  My wife and I sincerely hope that Mr. Hoshall and his team of fine men and women get the recognition that we strongly believe they deserve.

My meeting with Mr. Tom Hoshall was by a mere accident.  After accepting the position of Pediatric Radiologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma my family and I returned to Oklahoma City from Atlanta, GA, in search for a decent home.  Having successfully done this on three separate occasions during my career, we knew that the twelve days would be anything but a holiday.  After an extensive search for several days, we came across a home built by Mr. Tom Hoshall.  This was a four bedroom single level home with a pool and 3-car garage.  It was clear that the home was built with a great deal of attention, especially to even the minor details.  This was impressive. Out subsequent meetings and inquiries lead us on March 31^st to sign a contract for a 3544 sq. ft. home, with  4 BR’s and a 4 car garage. We have not regretted our decision and look forward with great anticipation to moving into our new home on November 1. 

We found Mr. Hoshall to be honest, courteous, thoughtful and almost “fatherly” in all his dealing and advise. His objectives as I see it is to build safe, secure and heat-efficient homes at an affordable and competitive price. He provides a good product for a good price and that is indeed rate to see today in this market of cutthroat competition. He never puts his own interests ahead of his customers and he often goes to great lengths to explain and advise. I think this is so important under the current housing market with an attitude of  “take it as it is or some one else will”!  He  prides himself at 100% customer satisfaction he provides. While he is a great builder, his backbone consists of a very dedicated staff who he treats with great respect and devotion. This shows in their workmanship in the houses and their interactions with us and with everyone I have seen. Mr. Hoshall has always been open to suggestions and in the event he can’t answer something he is always prompt in getting back to you.  His dedication and pride in his properties after hours even on Sundays. His dedication and care is both commendable and exemplary.

My wife and I feel quite strongly that Mr. Tom Hoshall is deserving of this award.  For almost two years we looked at many houses throughout the Oklahoma City area, both old and newly completed homes, in order to find a new home for our family.  We talked to several different builders in the area, as well as looked at their completed houses, but we were never satisfied with either their proposals or completed project.

One day my wife and I had the good fortune to visit one of Tom Hoshall’s houses that he had just completed.  We were immediately impressed with the workmanship of the home.  The attention to the little details, particularly with the kitchen cabinets and other wood work is what sold us on Tom Hoshall.  We knew that we finally had found the builder for our future home.  We knew that Mr. Tom Hoshall would build us a quality home.

We met with Tom Hoshall and his staff to discuss the construction of our new home, and found both Tom and his staff to be very competent and helpful in making suggestions as to how to go about this venture.  Needless to say we came to a quick resolution of any concerns that we had, and signed a contract with Tom Hoshall Homes to construct our new home.

During the construction Tom Hoshall was very helpful in assisting us in any changes that we found necessary as the construction progressed, and constantly made us feel at ease about concerns that we had.  We saw Tom himself many times visit the building site, both during the day and in the evenings, to  make sure that construction is going as scheduled, and that the quality of the workmanship is not sacrificed.  Seeing him on the job all the time made us also feel confident that we were getting a quality home.

I would like to tell you about our new-home builder, Mr. Tom Hoshall, and his staff. This past April, my husband and I met Tom and his sales manager, Ms. Donella Stout, while looking for a new house. We had looked at many houses in various building stages, and by numerous builders. We were very impressed by the “finished product” of a home down the street which Mr. Hoshall had built, and liked what we saw in a house that was in the framing stage. We, therefore, signed a contract with Tom Hoshall Homes to build us our new home.

Tom calls the first official meeting that he has with his buyers an “engagement” meeting, because, as he says, we are entering into a “marriage between builder and home buyer”.  Now it is only natural to expect any “marriage” to have some rocky times along the way.  But, I must tell you that we have been very happy during the entire building process. Tom Hoshall, is not only a very personable man, but is a very honest and upfront man. I like that! There has never been a time that he has not given us an exact answer to any question we might have about any aspect of the building of our house. If it can be done, he will tell you the cost and stick by his word. If it cannot be done, he lets you know that too, without keeping you wondering about what’s going on. He is always personally accessible to his home buyers.

Tom uses quality in every aspect of his building. From the mesh screen that is put in for added strength to the foundation, to the top of the line appliances he installs, many extras are just standard in a Tom Hoshall home.

Another great feature that Mr. Hoshall and his staff have available to his buyers is his “Home Gallery” which is made up of decorated rooms that display many of the various options and styles of all aspects of the new homes that he builds under one roof.  And to top it all off, this gallery is conveniently located with their offices so that most questions can be intelligently discussed and looked at right there together.  As an added bonus, Tom Hoshall has a television program that is on our local cable channel daily where he “showcases” many of the people who work for him, and with him along with the products which are used in his home building. A very unique concept in home building! 

Let me also brag on his great staff. From the time that we first began working with the sales manage, Donella, to Debbie his decorator, and Patrick his superintendent, we have been treated with respect and a sense of urgency to any question we might have.  Tom’s entire staff is very accessible at all times. I smile every time I walk into my new house. It is beautiful, and I know it is built well. We have had a very enjoyable time during our home building “marriage” and are excited to move into our new home which is almost finished…ahead of schedule, no less!
